Finally, an embroidery Podcast for Creative Homebodies
Let’s face it – we’re not all boss babes chasing the million dollar high life. And while true crime podcasts are simply amazing, there comes a point where creative homebodies like us just want to find a cozy nook and stitch something.
Tune in each episode to meet new friends within the embroidery community, from right around the world. Find out what they’re struggling with, celebrate their successes and learn more about who they are and how they got into embroidery!
into our busy lives
Stitching & Co is sparking conversation within the embroidery community. In each episode, we promote the value of prioritising community over competition, explore topics such as creative burnout, imposter syndrome and whether to turn your hobby into a business. We look at how to price your art, how to find your own artistic style that feels true to you and empathise and explore how to pivot and change directions (and that it’s okay), and many more highly personal topics that really just don’t get spoken about often.
Host and founder of Stitching & Co, Bess Wilkins, knows firsthand the crazy rollercoaster of emotions that comes with being a life-long crafter. Being a creative homebody can be highly therapeutic while simultaneously isolating, frustrating and self-doubting. These are all normal experiences of the modern-day crafter no matter whether you are an embroidery artist, cross-stitcher, graphic designer or painter.
